I don't blame ya! Everyone wants to know something about me.
For example, the sunglasses I wear can see through walls.

About

My name is Peter Bailey and I am a young and enthusiastic hobbyist designer. I say hobbyist because I don't consider myself as a professional and I don't have any tertiary qualifications yet. I am planning on getting a Diploma in Website Development and maybe even an undergrad certificate in Multimedia but that will not happen for a little while yet.

Here are a couple of FAQ's that you might be interested in reading:

What does 'Zardos Demon' mean?

Zardos Demon doesn't really have a meaning. When I first started on the Internet, I wanted to create an email account. I was interested in 1980's Australian computer hackers at the time (still am) and there was a security mailing list back then called 'zardoz'. When I chose my email address username, I misspelled 'zardoz' and instead I typed 'zardos'. I wanted something cool to add to the username and at the time (2003) I was interested in demons, dragons and other fantasy figures. When I realised that I spelt 'zardoz' wrong, I actually thought that it was good. I keep checking Google to see how unique my 'handle' is and so far it has been doing very well.

Have you had previous websites?

Yes. There were three previous websites that I have had before this one. My first website was called Nowhere Inc. and it began as a way to host skins that I had made for a PC racing game called 'V8 Challenge'. Then there was 'Zardos Design' which was my first attempt at using a proper domain name. There were many versions of Zardos Design as I was constantly learning new things. All the pages were hand coded with tables and image maps as I knew very little about Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). The third website was 'Pete Bailey Design' and it was my first attempt at running a website on a Content Management System (CMS). I tried many new ideas with graphics and CSS and the quality of my work increased.

I will add more information on the history of my projects in an upcoming publication.

So, this site has a mascot?

Yes, her name is Mizuki. For more information, click HERE.

What tools do you use to create your artwork?

I use Adobe Photoshop CS2 for my artwork and Adobe ImageReady CS2 for animation. Depending on what I am creating, I will use a Wacom Intuo3 tablet instead of a mouse.
